Flicking:


Adjustshot Finals – The opening task of the routine features two targets placed on a wide wall with no variance in target depth. Smoothswitch Finals – The first task in this section is a target switching scenario with several flying targets that surround the player. Compared to most switching tasks, this one leans more toward tracking due to the targets having a higher TTK. It also features health regeneration, meaning each target must be fully eliminated before moving to the next. ADS and player movement are optional.

Controlswitch Finals – This target switching scenario similarly features targets that are flying evasively around the player, but these are even more tracking heavy as the targets manuevers are more erratic. The movement patterns are still readable, just more challenging. The task features health regenerating targets, with optional ADS and player movement.

Skateswitch Finals – The final task of the section focuses on evasive switching, featuring three humanoid targets that strafe, jump, and dash in front of the player. Headshots will deal double damage, with optional ADS and player movement.

Controlsphere Finals on Aimlabs

Precise Tracking:


Horizontal Wide Track Easy – This is a precise tracking scenario that features a small target which makes long, wide strafes in front of the player, bouncing off of the sides of the play area. This task primarily trains pure horizontal tracking and smoothness, with the added element of the wall bounces there to create added evasiveness.

Bouncesphere Finals Easy – The next task in the section is a precise tracking scenario that features a small target, which performs high jumps around the player, with the ability to strafe in mid-air. This task trains precision and smoothness, while mimicking in-game situations such as tracking players who have just hit a jump pad.

Controlsphere Finals – The final task in this section features a sphere that makes evasive strafes around the player. This is great for training target reading, micro-adjustments while tracking, and helps to transition your training between precise tracking and into the reactive tracking section.

Closetrack Finals Easy on Aimlabs

This is the key scenario of this section, as it helps players push their speed and then retain it as they transition into smaller targets the better they perform. ADS is optional.

360° Switching:

The final scenarios have been selected to feel more game focused with emphasis on strafing enemies and reacting to peeking angles, so that you finish each session with the routine ready to dominate with rifles or pistols.

Micros:


Micro 2 Sphere CS2 – This task features 2 small static targets in a very small space, providing core micro training, while also serving as an in-playlist warmup inside the routine. Fun, easy to play, and a good isolation exercise for doing small flick motions.

Microshot CS2 – In the next task, players will shoot at 2 targets in a long corridor with readable and predictable strafes. It’s good for learning how to chain micros and kill multiple evasive targets in a row, which is a very common scenario in CS. It teaches microcorrections and also the ability to focus on more than one target on screen without being overwhelmed.

Flicking Technique:


Adjustshot CS2 – Kicking off the flicking section, shoot at 2 targets on a wide wall with no variance in target depth. Targets are not static, and they have slight, gentle movement. This scenario is useful to train proper flicking technique, as it requires an initial flick and the microrrection needed due to the small target movements. Adjustshot is a very popular flicking task.

Headshot CS2 – The second flicking task features 4 moving targets in a wide playing area that only move horizontally until they hit the side walls. The task also has target depth, meaning targets can appear closer or farther away. This replicates situations where you catch multiple enemies rotating who are unaware of your presence and need to eliminate them quickly. It’s similar to the previous task in that it emphasizes fighting several targets, but on a much larger scale. It also trains micros, but this task made it into the flicking section on account of the requirement for wide flicks.

Smoothness and Stability:


Strafe Track CS2 – This task features a single invincible tracking target that moves horizontally, with slight back and forth movements, mimicking a CS2 player who is constantly strafing. It trains target reading and tension control, especially while tracking the target’s direction changes.

Angle Track CS2 – The next task in this section features on-rails movement, where the player moves side to side in a half-circle area while tracking a static target that despawns and respawns every 6 seconds. This is excellent for stability, teaching players to use the full range of motion of their arm to track their target. It also reliably replicates CS2 gameplay as it mimics holding and adjusting along an angle while maintaining proper crosshair placement. Some players debate that Counter-Strike players don’t use their tracking ability much, if you’re utilizing proper crosshair placement and angle control, you are absolutely using your tracking ability as you move.

Game Specific:


Strafeshot CS2 – This is a dynamic scenario with 4 targets that appear at different heights. The targets constantly strafe horizontally, stopping frequently. This task replicates the battles players experience in CS2, since erratic movement and “ADAD spamming” is the number one way to avoid getting killed in CS2. This creates the hardest aiming situation in the game, so training it in isolation is critical. This task trains flicking technique, micros, and target reading, all in one.

Peekshot CS2 – Rounding out the playlist is this simple scenario that replicates holding a corridor where an enemy can peek from either side. It’s great for training reactions, micros, and an extremely common situation in CS2, and really, all Tactical FPS games.

This routine works as a daily training block or a warm-up before jumping into your matches. The full playlist runs around 24 minutes and fits cleanly into any session. New Aimlabs players get a simple entry point built around Call of Duty fundamentals, and experienced trainers get a playlist that focuses on the key categories that they’ll apply on the server. The final scenarios shift toward game focused reps with added emphasis on sniping mechanics, ensuring that you finish the routine feeling locked in, reactive, and ready to take fights.

Raw Speed:

Speedwitch 90 COD – This speed switching scenario features three large targets in a very cramped space. It’s great as a quick warmup and to train very fast, small flicks. Since the goal of this task is to go as fast as possible, it lasts 45 seconds. ADS is optional.

Speedwitch 180 COD – The second speed switching scenario on the routine, featuring five big targets in a wide map. A great continuation of the previous scenario, as it keeps the target size but now forces the player to make wider flicks and be more aware of target positioning. Since the goal of this task is to go as fast as possible, it lasts 45 seconds. ADS is optional.

Skyswitch EVO COD – The final task in this section, featuring four targets in a wide and deep arena. The targets start big and get smaller as you eliminate them. This is the most important scenario in this section, as it helps players push their speed and then retain it as they transition into smaller targets the better they perform. ADS is optional.

360 Switching:

Horizontal Switch COD – This is a target switching scenario featuring a number of humanoid targets. This task trains quick horizontal flicking in a full 360 degree arena. Headshots will deal more damage to the target, with ADS and player movement being optional.

Smoothswitch COD – The second task in the 360 section features several targets that fly gently around the player. This is a more tracking focused task compared to the previous entries on the routine, with it being meant to introduce a smoother, more controlled playstyle rather than focusing on flashy flicks. The targets will also regenerate their health, which means players will need to fully eliminate each target before moving on to the next. ADS and player movement are both optional.

Controlswitch COD – This task features several targets that are flying evasively around the player. This is the most tracking-focused scenario in the routine. Precise Flicking:

Dotswitch COD – A static switching task with low time-to-kill (TTK) targets. This task is good for training precise flicking and the ability to chain eliminations in quick succession. It’s useful for practicing wide flicks and landing shots on targets that are far away.

Strafeshot Multi COD – This is a dynamic flicking task featuring five targets that are strafing in the air, and require three shots to eliminate. This is a great representation for precision based weapons that require more than one shot to kill, such as pistols or DMRs.

Game Specific:

Snipershot COD – The first sniping focused task on the playlist, this is a static flicking scenario that features four small targets in a narrow play space, requiring players to ADS. This will be useful for training proper flicking techniques while sniping targets in the distance, emulating sniper duels.

Reflex Sniper COD – The final task of the routine, this is a reflex flicking scenario that features a deep corridor with a target randomly spawning from side to side. The faster that you eliminate each target, the more points you’ll earn, and if you fail to eliminate the target fast enough, it will despawn and remove points. This task replicates holding sniper lines and reacting to enemies who are peeking you.

What is the Aim Basics Routine Series?

The Aim Basics Series has been built from the ground up by lowgravity56 to give players a clear and dependable entry point into aim training for their specific game of choice.

Each Aim Basics Routine follows a familiar structure across games. You get a curated playlist designed to run in roughly 30 minutes. These routines focus on core aiming fundamentals that impact each specific game. These playlists have been carefully curated to help players at every end of the experience spectrum, so new players use these playlists to build strong foundations, while experienced players use them as consistent daily warm ups.

This article acts as a living hub for every Aim Basics Routine released. As new playlists are released for other games, links and updates will be added here over time. This routine works for players at every skill level and supports both daily training and pre match warm ups. The playlist focuses on four core Overwatch 2 aim skills. Flicking builds fast target acquisition. Smooth target switching reinforces control between multiple threats. Precise tracking sharpens consistency on sustained targets. Reactive tracking prepares you for sudden direction changes common in fights. Several tasks align with specific hero aim styles, and most tasks support ADS or hip fire along with optional movement. This structure helps you train mechanics while staying close to real Overwatch 2 combat flow.

Flicking:

Adjustshot 4 Targets OW – This task features four targets placed on a wide wall with no depth. The targets are not fully static, as they have slight and gentle movement, which makes the scenario very effective for practicing proper flicking technique, combining a strong initial flick with controlled microcorrections caused by the subtle target motion. It includes an optional sniper ADS overlay, making it suitable for training a wide range of hitscan flicking heroes, from Cassidy to Widowmaker.

Orbshot – Several gently flying targets positioned above the player in this task. It’s excellent for training awkward angles, simulating airborne heroes such as Mercy. It also develops target reading, microcorrections, and target prioritization.

Multishot OW – A flicking scenario featuring five targets that must each be hit three times to be eliminated. It includes optional player movement and a sniper ADS overlay, making it suitable for training a wide range of hitscan flicking heroes, like the first scenario in this section.

Smooth Switching:

Smoothswitch OW – This is a target switching scenario with several gently flying targets surrounding the player. Compared to most switching scenarios, this one leans more toward tracking due to its higher time-to-kill. It also includes health regeneration, meaning targets must be fully eliminated before moving on to the next one. ADS and player movement are optional.

The talented lowgravity56 has done it again, cooking up the perfect playlist that you can use to train and warm up for Battlefield 6! This playlist should take you just under 30 minutes, which is an ideal session length for your warm-up before you head out onto the field.

This routine has been carefully curated to suitable for players of every skill level, and it’s structured around the three main categories that will factor into your BF6 aiming: raw speed, 360 degree target switching, and precise flicking. After working through the three sections, you’ll wrap the playlist up with two tasks selected for their ability to emulate the feel of Battlefield 6, capping off the routine with some practical use for your training.

Raw Speed:

Speedswitch 90 BF6 – This task features three large targets in a small screen space. This serves as a solid warm-up for the section, while you train for quick, short range flicks. This task is all about speed, so it’s one of the shorter tasks on the playlist, coming in at 45 seconds.

Speedswitch 180 BF6 – This is a speed switching scenario featuring five large targets moving across a wider map. This steps up from the previous scenario, with a similar target size but now you will be required to make wider flicks with more awareness of the targets across your peripheral vision. This is another 45 second scenario with an emphasis on speed.

Skyswitch EVO BF6 – Here is a target switching task that features four targets in a wide area with more depth than the previous two tasks. The targets will be larger at the beginning, and get progressively smaller as you progress through the task. This one is going to challenge both your speed and your accuracy as the targets shrink.

360 Switching:

A quick note for this section: All three of the tasks allow the player to move, though it’s not required and will not impact your score. Movement is optional.

Horizontal Switch BF6 – This target switching task features a number of cylindrical targets with a headshot hitbox. This task will help train your horizontal flicks in a full 360 degree radius around you. Remember to aim at those heads!

Smoothswitch BF6 – Another target switching task, which features multiple targets flying around the player. This task is going to be more tracking heavy than the others, so it’s a great opportunity to work on your smoothness and aim control instead of leaning on snappy flicks. The targets will regenerate health, so make sure that you eliminate a target completely before switching to the next.

Controlswitch BF6 – This task also features target switching, as you work to hit a number of evasive targets that are flying around you. This will be the most tracking heavy task in the entire playlist. Similar to Smoothswitch, the targets will regenerate health, so confirm those kills before flicking to the next target.

Precise Flicking:

Dotswitch BF6 – This is a static switching task, which features targets that are quick to kill. It serves as a great practice to work on chaining together precise flicks quickly.

Strafeshot Multi BF6 – This dynamic flicking task features five targets that strafe through the air, each taking three shots to kill. This will help to emulate in-game situations where you are using precision based weapons, such as pistols and DMRs.

Game Specific:

Snipershot BF6 – This task is a static flicking scenario, which features four small targets down a narrow lane. You will want to ADS through this task to be able to land your shots, and it will help you to train your sniping flicking ability for targets at long range.
