Finding the right mouse sensitivity feels harder than it should. You tweak sliders, copy pro settings, and still, something feels off in game. The problem is not effort. The problem is guessing. Sensitivity needs structure, not trial and error.

The latest Aimlabs YouTube guide starts by removing the guesswork. It breaks down common sensitivity ranges used across popular shooters and explains why those ranges exist. For example, faster games tend to favor higher sensitivity. Tactical shooters reward control and precision. Seeing these ranges side by side gives you a clear starting point instead of a random number.

The guide uses cm/360 as the foundation. This measures how far your mouse travels to complete a full rotation. Cm per 360 stays consistent across games and DPI settings. This makes it easier to compare sensitivities and build mouse control that transfers between titles.

The video covers a wide range of games including VALORANT, Counter Strike 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Battlefield 6, Overwatch 2, Marvel Rivals, and Apex Legends. Each section explains how movement, engagement distance, and pacing influence sensitivity choices. From there, the guide walks you through narrowing your range based on your playstyle.

By the end, the goal stays simple. You stop thinking about your sensitivity during fights. Your crosshair moves with intent. If you want a repeatable way to lock in a sens you trust, this guide gives you a clear path forward!

Looking to start practicing for Battlefield 6 but you haven’t found the right playlist quite yet? The talented lowgravity56 has done it again, cooking up the perfect playlist that you can use to train and warm up for Battlefield 6! This playlist should take you just under 30 minutes, which is an ideal session length for your warm-up before you head out onto the field.

Click here to start the playlist in Aimlabs!

This routine has been carefully curated to suitable for players of every skill level, and it’s structured around the three main categories that will factor into your BF6 aiming: raw speed, 360 degree target switching, and precise flicking. After working through the three sections, you’ll wrap the playlist up with two tasks selected for their ability to emulate the feel of Battlefield 6, capping off the routine with some practical use for your training.

Raw Speed:

Speedswitch 90 BF6 – This task features three large targets in a small screen space. This serves as a solid warm-up for the section, while you train for quick, short range flicks. This task is all about speed, so it’s one of the shorter tasks on the playlist, coming in at 45 seconds.

Speedswitch 180 BF6 – This is a speed switching scenario featuring five large targets moving across a wider map. This steps up from the previous scenario, with a similar target size but now you will be required to make wider flicks with more awareness of the targets across your peripheral vision. This is another 45 second scenario with an emphasis on speed.

Skyswitch EVO BF6 – Here is a target switching task that features four targets in a wide area with more depth than the previous two tasks. The targets will be larger at the beginning, and get progressively smaller as you progress through the task. This one is going to challenge both your speed and your accuracy as the targets shrink.

360 Switching:

A quick note for this section: All three of the tasks allow the player to move, though it’s not required and will not impact your score. Movement is optional.

Horizontal Switch BF6 – This target switching task features a number of cylindrical targets with a headshot hitbox. This task will help train your horizontal flicks in a full 360 degree radius around you. Remember to aim at those heads!

Smoothswitch BF6 – Another target switching task, which features multiple targets flying around the player. This task is going to be more tracking heavy than the others, so it’s a great opportunity to work on your smoothness and aim control instead of leaning on snappy flicks. The targets will regenerate health, so make sure that you eliminate a target completely before switching to the next.

Controlswitch BF6 – This task also features target switching, as you work to hit a number of evasive targets that are flying around you. This will be the most tracking heavy task in the entire playlist. Similar to Smoothswitch, the targets will regenerate health, so confirm those kills before flicking to the next target.

Precise Flicking:

Dotswitch BF6 – This is a static switching task, which features targets that are quick to kill. It serves as a great practice to work on chaining together precise flicks quickly.

Strafeshot Multi BF6 – This dynamic flicking task features five targets that strafe through the air, each taking three shots to kill. This will help to emulate in-game situations where you are using precision based weapons, such as pistols and DMRs.

Game Specific:

Snipershot BF6 – This task is a static flicking scenario, which features four small targets down a narrow lane. You will want to ADS through this task to be able to land your shots, and it will help you to train your sniping flicking ability for targets at long range.

Reflex Sniper BF6 – This is a reflex flicking task with another long corridor, where targets will spawn randomly side to side. The quicker you hit your shots, the more points you’ll earn. If you fail to eliminate a target fast enough, it will despawn, and your points will be deducted. Pressure scenarios like this are great for simulating the pressure you’ll feel in-game while being challenged by other snipers or enemies who are peeking you.

The post A Quick Explainer on cm/360, and the Common cm/360 by Game! appeared first on Aimlabs.com Articles.

]]>
You keep seeing players talk about cm/360. You want to understand what it means and how it helps. Here is a quick breakdown, but with a more natural flow.

cm/360 means how many centimeters your mouse moves on your mousepad to complete a full 360 degree turn in game. Move your mouse from one edge of your pad to the other. If that distance spins your camera in a full circle, that distance is your cm/360.

Lower sensitivity means you need to move your mouse more, so your cm/360 number is higher. Higher sensitivity means less physical movement, so your cm/360 number is lower.

Players started using cm/360 because sensitivity numbers do not match across games. Even players with the same sensitivity setting in two games feel something different because DPI, FOV, and game engines are not the same. cm/360 gives you one physical number you can use everywhere. It describes how your aim feels in your hand, not only on your screen.

This matters when you start aim training. Many new players ask if their sensitivity is too high or too low. There is no single answer because your best sensitivity depends on your mouse, mousepad size, desk space, posture, and comfort. But there are common ranges that help you choose a smart starting point. From there, you adjust based on control, comfort, and performance.

Let’s take a look at the common cm/360 ranges, collected by our friends at Voltaic.

Common cm/360 Ranges

Overwatch 2 and Marvel Rivals

Hero dependent
Common range: 20 to 60 cm
Recommended: 35 cm

Battlefield 6

Weapon and role dependent
Common range: 20 to 50 cm
Recommended: 40 cm

VALORANT and Counter-Strike 2

High focus on crosshair placement
Common range: 35 to 75 cm
Recommended: 50 cm

Apex Legends

Weapon and engagement style dependent
Common range: 20 to 60 cm
Recommended: 40 cm

Fortnite

Building and editing reward faster turns
Common range: 20 to 45 cm
Recommended: 30 cm

Rainbow Six Siege

Tight angles and precision
Common range: 30 to 60 cm
Recommended: 40 cm

Call of Duty Series

Fast fights and frequent rotations
Common range: 20 to 45 cm

Train faster target switching, sharper tracking, and cleaner shots. Turn every fight into your highlight reel!

The post Become the ULTIMATE Battlefield Aimer with the BF6 Fundamentals appeared first on Aimlabs.com Articles.

]]>
With the launch of Battlefield 6, both veterans and new players are jumping into massive, all-out warfare. Success in Battlefield isn’t only about positioning or teamwork, it’s about precision. Low time-to-kill (TTK) means every shot matters, and players who excel at target switching and tracking enemies under pressure will stand out on the scoreboard.

This Battlefield 6 plan is built to help you master those exact fundamentals. The plan focuses on developing the aiming skills that define strong Battlefield players: precise tracking to stay on moving targets, quick target switching to handle multiple threats, and crisp tapping or clicking for single-fire weapons.

Whether you’re spraying with an automatic rifle, locking onto enemies while manning a vehicle gun, or controlling recoil during hectic fights, you’ll practice to handle each situation with accuracy and control.

With time and dedication, this plan will help you play with confidence and consistency. Stick to the training, and soon you’ll be landing shots so smooth that your clips will have players asking if you’re even legit.

Win More Fights with Faster Switching

Battlefield moves fast. Capture points flip constantly, shifting where the fight happens and where enemies come from. With up to 32 players per team, mechanics that allow squadmates to respawn on each other, and vehicles that provide the opportunity to reposition quickly, you’re always surrounded by targets. To survive and contribute, you need speed, both in how fast you find targets and how quickly you eliminate them.

Target switching plays a huge role in this. Training this skill helps you move your crosshair between enemies with precision instead of hesitation. It sharpens your reaction time, improves accuracy, and helps you lock onto new targets faster, even in the middle of chaos.

Every extra second you save when clearing a target adds up. The faster and more efficiently you deal damage, the more impact you have on the fight. Clearing multiple enemies in quick succession can be the difference between capturing a point and losing it, or opening up the respawn window for your squadmates to reinforce you behind enemy lines.

In Battlefield, those moments define matches. A single player with speed, precision, and control can create openings that turn the tide for their entire team.

Hit Harder by Training Adaptive Precision

Precision separates strong Battlefield players from the rest. Tracking targets that adapt to your performance helps refine that precision over time. As you improve, the challenge scales with you, pushing your accuracy further and forcing you to stay sharp. This kind of adaptive tracking is especially valuable when engaging at long range, where precision determines whether you win or lose a fight.

Long-range aiming in Battlefield is demanding. Targets move unpredictably, and even small errors can cause a missed shot. That’s why consistent training focused on precision is essential. Building steady, controlled aim helps you handle those extended engagements with confidence and efficiency.

As you train through the following set of tasks, focus on how you acquire and move between targets. Use your peripheral vision to spot the next target early, and work to land directly on it when switching. Keep your mouse movements clean and deliberate, avoiding unnecessary corrections or jitter. Move quickly when transitioning between targets, then slow down slightly for fine-tuning once you’re close.

Practicing these techniques builds the balance between speed and control that defines great aim. Over time, you’ll notice smoother transitions, steadier tracking, and more consistent accuracy, which is exactly what you need to dominate in Battlefield.

Speed Switching Tasks:

VT Speedswitch 90 Precision Novice
VT Speedswitch 180 Warmup Novice
VT Skyswitch Raw Speed Novice
VT Skyswitch Evo Novice
VT Skyswitch Novice Smaller

Gain the Edge with Steady Aim and Control

Fast target switching is only half the equation. In Battlefield, being able to track targets with stability and control is just as important. Stability allows you to stay on target longer, finish fights faster, and maintain consistent weapon control under pressure. The more stable your aim, the fewer shots you waste and the quicker you eliminate threats.

Tracking tasks focused on smooth, steady movement also sharpen your ability to read your opponent. As you improve, you’ll learn to anticipate how enemies strafe, dodge, or reposition, making it easier to keep your crosshair aligned through their movements. This skill becomes critical when facing players who constantly change direction or use cover to throw off your aim.

As you play through the next set of tasks, focus on making smooth, singular motions with your mouse. Avoid jerky or unnecessary corrections that throw off your rhythm. If the target is evasive, lock in visually and concentrate on reading its direction changes. The goal is to stay calm and controlled while keeping your crosshair centered through movement.

Developing this level of control will make your aim feel grounded and consistent. You’ll react faster, track smarter, and close out fights with precision, which will be a key advantage in the chaos of Battlefield.

Stability & Control Tasks:

VT Centering II 180 Easy
VT Anti-Centering 90 NS Easy
VT mpXY Invincible
VT Regenspheres Control Novice
VT Regenspheres Novice

Land Every Shot with Perfect Tapping and Timing

Not every weapon in Battlefield 6 is fully automatic. Many situations call for precise single-fire shots, whether you’re using a DMR, sniper, or shotgun. Mastering your tapping and timing gives you control in these moments, helping you land consistent hits without relying on spray patterns.

Tapping is more than clicking fast. It’s about rhythm and precision. Each shot needs to be deliberate and timed to your target’s movement. The better you read an enemy’s strafe or direction change, the easier it becomes to place your next shot exactly where it needs to go.

As you play through the last set of tasks, focus on patience and consistency. Avoid spam firing and instead aim for steady, controlled taps. Keep your movements clean when transitioning between targets, making sure every adjustment is intentional. This discipline will build up your confidence and steady your aim under pressure.

With enough practice, your single-fire shots will feel natural and accurate. You’ll learn to keep calm during fights, control your weapon with precision, and finish engagements efficiently, making you one of the scariest players on any Battlefield server.

Tapping Tasks:

VT Skyshot Novice
VT Angleshot 180 Smooth Novice
VT Strafeshot Novice

Wrapping It Up

You’ve now worked through the key aiming skills that define strong Battlefield 6 players: speed, precision, control, and timing. Each one plays a critical role in helping you stay consistent under pressure and perform when the action gets chaotic. By building these habits, you’re not just improving your aim, you’re improving how you think and react in every fight.

The tasks in this plan were designed to help you track faster, switch targets smoother, and hit shots with confidence. Whether you’re holding a capture point, locking down a chokepoint, or lining up long-range shots, the skills you’ve built here will carry over directly into your gameplay. The more time you put in, the more natural these movements will feel.

Keep training, stay patient, and trust the process. Every session brings you closer to that level of control and consistency that makes great players stand out. Bring what you’ve learned into the battlefield and show your squad what precision looks like in action.
